Job summary

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Punjabi preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients according to protocol and manage check-out process.
• Complete provider referrals for each patient.
• Administer injections and medications under physician orders; perform venipuncture.
• Assist provider with charting and care coordination during visits.

Hourly Rate: $23.39

On‑call Medical Assistant position available for our Everson Medical Clinic, with occasional shifts at Bellingham Medical Clinic. Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills, an enthusiastic professional demeanor, and excel at multi‑tasking.

Responsibilities

• Follow protocol in rooming and exiting patients
• Complete all provider referrals for each patient
• Administer injections and distribute oral medications under physicians’ orders; perform venipuncture
• Assist the medical provider with charting office visits and ensuring communication and documentation for comprehensive patient care coordination

Education and/or Requirements

• Must have a Washington State MA‑Certificate or possess an MA‑Interim License and pass the exam within the 90‑day probationary period
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Punjabi preferred
