Virginia Mason is seeking a certified Medical Assistant to assist providers and the healthcare team in the clinic. Responsibilities include performing back office and patient-related tasks, ensuring smooth workflow, and performing patient care procedures within the MAC scope of practice such as injections, EKGs, ear lavage, blood draws, and vital signs measurement. The role also involves managing patient flow, assisting with visit preparations, and reporting test results as directed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program or military equivalent, at least 6 months of customer experience, and active Washington State MA-C licensure (or interim with a probationary period). Preferred qualifications include knowledge of insurance concepts and one year of Medical Assistant experience.
