Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support at Singing River Rheumatology Services in Pascagoula and Ocean Springs. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; MA program ABHES/CAAHEP preferred.
• Minimum 1 year customer service in registration, scheduling, or insurance verification.
• CMA preferred; CMA or RMA certification may be required or preferred per organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical and administrative tasks delegated by and under supervision of the Physician.
• Assist front office staff as directed by the Practice/Office Manager.
• Maintain patient care management and ensure accurate data entry and documentation.
