Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Leominster, MA is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time role (38.75 hours weekly). Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, taking health histories and vitals, EMR documentation, and assisting with minor procedures.

A $3,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates is offered. Required qualifications include technical certification or 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience, enrollment in an MA program, or EMT

Qualifications

• Technical certification or 1+ years of experience performing the critical skills of a Medical Assistant after on-the-job training OR current enrollment in an accredited Medical Assistant program OR EMT certification
• Experience working as a Medical Assistant or EMT

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment & instruments
• Room patients, obtain health history and check vital signs
• Document patient care using electronic medical records software
• Assist providers with minor, in-office procedures and perform point-of-care testing
