Job summary

AHN is seeking a Care & Operations Specialist I (Medical Assistant) to support the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery office in Beaver, PA. Duties include greeting patients, checking in/out, verifying insurance, scheduling, and coordinating with providers.

The role also involves rooming patients, collecting vital signs, reviewing histories, collecting specimens, and performing basic laboratory tasks under provider direction. CPR certification and clearances within 90 days are required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between providers, offices, laboratories and patients.
