Job summary

Talentify is hiring a Medical Assistant at our Beaver, PA location. The role involves clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering injections, as well as administrative duties like scheduling and medical records management.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collects vital signs and patient history and performs basic lab tasks as directed by the provider.
• Administers injections and medications as directed; handles administrative tasks such as scheduling and records.
• Order supplies and maintain medical records; obtain referrals/authorizations.

Office location: Heart and Vascular Center 605 Sharon Road Beaver, PA 15009
Work hours: Monday - Friday daylight, no weekends, no major holidays

Collects vital signs and patient history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by provider in addition to other clinical tasks. Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals/authorizations and scheduling appointments.

Required

High School graduate or equivalent. Medical Assistant Certification (i.e., AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, NCCT NCMA, or NAHP NRCMA), CPR Certification, Computer experience, Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Medical Assistant diploma or degree program. Minimum of one year medical assisting experience. Proficient in venipuncture.
