Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians across Connecticut sites. The role includes direct patient care, vitals, EKGs, health maintenance, and routine administrative duties while rotating through multiple offices.

Candidates should have an MA diploma or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic cert, or related experience; BLS within 90 days; and EPIC EMR experience is preferred. This position offers growth opportunities within a respected healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic or related experience.
• BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association obtained within 3 months of hire date.
• All required credentials maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under provider supervision, including vitals, history, screenings, and health maintenance.
• Conduct point of care testing with quality control documentation.
• Perform EKGs and obtain vital signs; support cardiac stress tests.
• Place and manage cardiac monitoring devices for patient assessments.
• Handle front desk duties and float to other offices as needed.
