• Associate degree or higher in Medical Assisting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent occupational experience in medical assisting, billing, coding, or related areas.
• Current CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA and CPC/CCS/CCS-P/RHIT/RHIA/CBCS certifications.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with diverse learners.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver classroom, laboratory, simulation, and online instruction in Medical Assisting, Medical Office Administration, Billing, and Coding.
• Teach courses such as Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, Clinical Procedures, Pharmacology, HIPAA Compliance, EHR, CPT/ICD-10-CM coding.
• Evaluate student performance, monitor progress, maintain records, provide tutoring and remediation.
• Develop lesson plans, materials, and assessments aligned with curriculum.
• Engage with healthcare employers for externships and industry engagement.
