Job summary

Advanced Molecular Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a busy physician's office for genetic testing. You will engage patients, administer a questionnaire on an iPad to assess eligibility, and handle paperwork and DNA sample collection (mouthwash swish), contributing to cancer risk assessment and hereditary testing.

The role requires 1–2 years in a fast-paced office, excellent patient interaction, and Spanish fluency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in a fast-paced office.
• Must have strong patient interaction skills.
• Certification preferred but not required.
• Must speak fluent Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet and talk with patients entering the office.
• Administer iPad-based questionnaire to determine test eligibility.
• Complete paperwork and collect DNA samples (mouthwash swish).

Job Opportunity: We are looking for a Medical Assistant to work in a busy physician's office on behalf of our lab conducting genetic testing.

This would involve speaking to each patient that comes into the office, utilizing our iPad based questionnaire to see if the patient qualifies for the test, then filling out the paper work and collecting the DNA sample (this is just a mouthwash swish...no blood).

Our tests assess both Cancer Risk and tell patients who want to have children if they have a Genetic Mutation that they could pass down to their children. So YOU can really make a difference in patient lives.

We offer hourly pay of $17-$21 dollar
