GeneID Advanced Molecular Diagnostics in Phoenix seeks a Medical Assistant to support a busy physician's office and our genetic testing lab. You will engage with each patient, use an iPad questionnaire to determine test eligibility, complete paperwork, and collect the mouthwash DNA sample.

This role emphasizes patient interaction, training is paid, certification is preferred but not required, and Spanish language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years working in a fast paced office.
• Must have strong patient interaction skills.
• Certification preferred but NOT required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but NOT required.

Responsibilities

• Speak to each patient entering the office and administer the iPad questionnaire to assess test eligibility.
• Fill out the paperwork and collect the DNA sample (mouthwash) for genetic testing.

Job Opportunity: We are looking for a Medical Assistant to work in a busy physician's office on behalf of our lab conducting genetic testing.

This would involve speaking to each patient that comes into the office, utilizing our iPad based questionnaire to see if the patient qualifies for the test, then filling out the paper work and collecting the DNA sample (this is just a mouthwash swish...no blood).

Our tests assess both Cancer Risk and tell patients who want to have children if they have a Genetic Mutation that they could pass down to their children. So YOU can really make a difference in patient lives.

We offer hourly pay of $17-$21 dollar and paid training! Potential of transitioning to full-time employment (Optional).

Requirements:
