Advanced Molecular Diagnostics in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a busy physician's office working with our genetic testing lab. You will interview patients using an iPad questionnaire, complete paperwork, and collect non-blood DNA samples (mouthwash swab) to screen for cancer risk and hereditary mutations.

The role offers hourly pay of $17-$21, full health benefits, and paid training; bilingual Spanish is a plus for patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years working in a fast paced office.
• Must have strong patient interaction skills.
• Certification preferred but NOT required.
• Bilingual Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Speak with patients entering the office and conduct iPad-based questionnaires to determine test eligibility.
• Fill out paperwork and collect DNA samples using a mouthwash swab.
• Assist in coordinating lab testing and patient communication.

Job Opportunity: We are looking for a Medical Assistant to work in a busy physician's office on behalf of our lab conducting genetic testing.

This would involve speaking to each patient that comes into the office, utilizing our iPad based questionnaire to see if the patient qualifies for the test, then filling out the paper work and collecting the DNA sample (this is just a mouthwash swish...no blood).

Our tests assess both Cancer Risk and tell patients who want to have children if they have a Genetic Mutation that they could pass down to their children. So YOU can really make a difference in patient lives.

We offer hourly pay of $17-$21 dollars and provide full health benefits and paid training!
