Greet and room patients for physician appointments
Obtain vital signs and perform initial patient assessments
Document patient history and current complaints
Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
Prepare examination rooms and maintain supplies
Process insurance information and patient paperwork
Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
Update patient medical records and EHR
Assist with patient education under provider direction
Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Support clinic operations and patient flow
Assist with basic wound care and dressing changes
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent experience preferred
Certification (CMA or RMA) preferred
Minimum 1-2 years of medical assistant experience
BLS/CPR certification required or willingness to obtain
