Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to administer and coordinate medical services while delivering a positive patient experience within the facility. You will perform routine administrative and clinical responsibilities.

Pay range is $18 to $21 per hour. The benefits package includes 18 days PTO, 401k with company match, ongoing training and certification opportunities, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, disability insurance, STAR LRP, and tuition

Qualifications

• Experience as a medical assistant.
• Current medical assistant or EMT certification from an accredited program.
• Maintains continuing education credits as required by the state.
• Ability to administer medications.

Responsibilities

• Works as part of intake to ensure patients are seen promptly.
• Observe urine samples for drug screens and prepare for testing.
• Obtain vital signs and report findings to nurses.
• Draw and prepare blood samples for testing onsite.
• Coordinate appointments with physicians, counselors, and case managers.
• Maintain and update medical records in the EHR and required systems.
