University of Michigan seeks a Medical Assistant to join the Canton Health Center, floating between Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and OB/GYN as needed. You will support patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting, with emphasis on pediatric and/or adult populations and a team-oriented approach.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at the Canton Health Center. This position supports all four departments within the clinic Pediatrics, Adult Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and OB/GYN and requires a candidate who is comfortable floating between areas based on daily operational needs.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with pediatric and/or adult patient populations and be skilled in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, team-oriented, and eager to learn and grow as part of a supportive, cross-trained medical team.

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the United Michigan Medicine Allied Professionals (UMMAP), which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
