Bay Area Advance Gastroenterology Care in Florida is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will collect patient information, call in medications and orders, process patient admissions, and maintain patient records with meticulous organization.

The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and familiarity with medical terminology and administrative processes. Bilingual English/Spanish is an asset.

Formación

• Experience as gastroenterology Medical Assistant or similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and administrative processes.
• Familiarity with information management programs and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Follow all clinic procedures in the accurate maintenance of patient records
• Triage the patients
• Ensure all patient paperwork is completed and submitted in an accurate and timely manner
• File patient medical records and information
• Maintain the confidentiality of all patient medical records and information
• Call in prescriptions and orders that the doctor and NP requests
• Other administrative and clerical duties as assigned
• Answers phone calls, follows up with patients
