AllerVie Health in Destin, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our clinical team in allergy and respiratory care. The role involves performing entry-level clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and a clean, well-stocked clinic environment.

Under supervision, you will assist with patient vitals, allergy-related procedures, EMR documentation, room preparation, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant care.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems.
• Basic computer and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record patient vital signs (height, weight, BP, pulse, temperature, SpO2).
• Assist with allergy testing, spirometry, Niox testing, and immunotherapy under supervision.
• Document patient data accurately in the EMR.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, restocking supplies and cleaning between patients.
• Support patient flow and ensure timely transitions.
• Uphold HIPAA regulations and infection control standards at all times.
• Perform other entry-level duties as assigned by the clinical supervisor.
