Position: Full-time Medical Assistant (Monday - Friday)

Interviews will be conducted via Zoom. Qualified candidates will receive a link to participate.

The role requires completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or relevant MA experience to obtain certifications such as AAMA, RMA/AMT, NCRMA (NAHP), NCMA (NCCT), RCMAS (NCMA), CCMA (NHA), AAH (RMA), or ARMA (RMA) within 90 days of hire.

Pay Range: $17.82 to $29.43 per hour, based on experience as a Certified Medical Assistant.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to provide high-quality care at our Internal Medicine "I" Street practice in Washington, D.C. The Medical Assistant will administer medications and immunizations, obtain vital signs, manage inventory, ensure patient safety and efficient flow, track referrals and lab tests, facilitate safe care transitions, and contribute to quality measures such as HEDIS.

Location:

1400 "I" Street St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20005

Shift:

Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Non-exempt (40 hours/week)

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Medical Assistant with certification such as AAMA, RMA/AMT, NCRMA, NCMA, RCMAS, or CCMA, to be obtained within 3 months of hire
• CPR certification required upon hire, recertification every two years
• Two years of experience in an outpatient setting preferred

Salary: $17.82 - $29.43 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
