Job summary

Singing River Surgical Services in Hurley, NM is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support under the supervision of physicians and PAs. You will assist in patient flow, scheduling, and basic clinical tasks within the surgical services setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a medical assistant program (ABHES/CAAHEP) and 1+ year of customer service or registration experience. Shifts are 10 hours across weekdays with potential weekend hours.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required; Medical Assistant program ABHES/CAAHEP preferred.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred; BCLS training within 90 days.
• Minimum 1 year customer service, registration, scheduling, and insurance verification experience; CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical and administrative tasks under supervision of Physician or designated staff.
• Assist front office personnel and support patient care management.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with practice policies.
