Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Elizabethtown Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its team.

The MA will room patients, take vitals, perform phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and handle related clerical tasks, including prior authorizations and patient messaging. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma and CMA or RMA certification (or active CMA/RMA) with BLS; outpatient experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification/Registration as CMA or RMA within 90 days of employment.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 6 months of employment.

Responsabilités

• Room patients and take vitals during visits.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and basic minor procedures.
• Handle clerical duties including prior authorizations and patient messaging.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with minor procedures.
• Document patient data, actions, and test results.
