Summary: The Medical Assistant assists Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with patient evaluation, management, and treatment in an ambulatory setting. Responsibilities include maintaining patient flow, exam rooms, performing vital signs, point of care testing, administering injections, immunizations, nebulizer treatments, and over-the-counter medications under physician direction.
