Job summary

Comprehensive Pain Consultants, a PartnerCare Affiliated Company, is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Jackson, TN care team. You will work with physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure patients have a great experience, preparing visits, assisting with appointments, and maintaining exam rooms.

The role requires a high school diploma, completion of a Medical Assistant/Aide course, and ACLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High school diploma
• Certificate of completion of a Medical Assistants/ Aides course
• Current ACLS and/or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• providing a warm and welcoming patient experience while preparing the patient and their information for their visit with their provider
• assisting with the medical appointment as instructed by the provider
• cleaning, preparing and stocking rooms
• communicating with the patients and other providers about their care as instructed by the provider and documenting accurately about the visit in the electronic medical record

How You Contribute and Succeed

The Medical Assistant role will provide outstanding service, compassion, and care to our patients. They will work as part of the care team with the Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to ensure the patient has the best possible experience.

Duties include:

• providing a warm and welcoming patient experience while preparing the patient and their information for their visit with their provider
• assisting with the medical appointment as instructed by the provider
• cleaning, preparing and stocking rooms
• communicating with the patients and other providers about their care as instructed by the provider and documenting accurately about the visit in the electronic medical record

The right person for this role will delight in providing a great experience to the patient, will have a curious mind that always looks for a way to improve, and be compassionate for patients experiencing chronic and/or acute pain. To be successful in this role, the person will be a great team member, working together with others, kind and friendly, open to feedback for growth, and a role model of our values.

We prefer at least two years of experience but are willing to train newer teammates with the right focus on patient care, service, and teamwork.
