Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during exams, sterile field set-up, procedures, and surgical cases.
• Prepares/administers medications and injections per policy and may process refills under provider direction.
• Prepare patients for treatment, including histories and consent documentation.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, injections, and suture removals.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms.
• Perform specimen handling and collection.
• Accurately document care, medications, test results, and procedures.
• Coordinate appointments, referrals, and testing.
• Maintain medical equipment and supplies; respond to in-clinic emergencies per protocol.
• Uphold HIPAA, safety standards, and quality care protocols.
• Performs proper infection control and biohazard waste disposal; supports CLIA‑waived testing procedures as trained.

• Perform wound care, dressing changes, injections, and suture removals.

• Accurately document care, medications, test results, and procedures.
• Coordinate appointments, referrals, and testing.
• Maintain medical equipment and supplies; responds to in-clinic emergencies per protocol and documents per policy.
