The Medical Assistant is an onsite position.**Essential Functions*** Provide clinical support to physicians or providers with patient assessments, examinations, treatments, and procedures.* Prepare and maintain clinical areas, equipment, and supplies to ensure safe, clean, and efficient patient care.* Document patient care activities, observations, and test results accurately in accordance with professional standards.* Perform specimen collection, injections, basic testing (e.g., EKGs, CLIA-waived tests), and medication support under supervision.* Coordinate and communicate with patients and providers by triaging calls, responding to concerns, and supporting administrative tasks such as scheduling, prescriptions, and authorizations.* Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.* Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request.
