Job summary

Keystone Health's Keystone Internal Medicine – Waynesboro is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This full-time role supports patient care and office operations in a busy community health center.

You will handle patient calls, obtain records, process referrals, monitor labs, coordinate prior authorizations, and assist nursing staff. Ideal candidates have prior medical office experience, EMR knowledge, CMA certification preferred, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office or nursing support experience.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Managing patient phone calls.
• Requesting medical records for new patients.
• Tracking referrals.

Keystone Internal Medicine - Waynesboro is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. As a fast-paced and expanding Community Health Center, we are committed to improving the health and wellness of our community and are looking for a compassionate, organized professional who thrives in a collaborative environment.

In this role, you will support patient care and office operations through a variety of clinical and administrative responsibilities.

• managing patient phone calls
• requesting medical records for new patients
• tracking referrals
• monitoring laboratory results and diagnoses
• obtaining medication prior authorizations
• assisting nursing staff as needed

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to multitask effectively, and comfortable working in a busy healthcare setting.
