Job summary

Keystone Internal Medicine – Waynesboro is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This full-time role supports patient care and office operations in a fast-paced community health center, with Monday–Friday hours and no weekend or holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient phone calls and requests for records.
• Request medical records for new patients.
• Track referrals and monitor laboratory results and diagnoses.
• Obtain medication prior authorizations as needed.
• Assist nursing staff and support office operations.

Keystone Internal Medicine - Waynesboro is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our growing team.

As a fast-paced and expanding Community Health Center, we are committed to improving the health and wellness of our community and are looking for a compassionate, organized professional who thrives in a collaborative environment.

In this role, you will support patient care and office operations through a variety of clinical and administrative responsibilities. Duties include managing patient phone calls, requesting medical records for new patients, tracking referrals, monitoring laboratory results and diagnoses, obtaining medication prior authorizations, and assisting nursing staff as needed. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to multitask effectively, and comfortable working in a busy healthcare setting.
