Job summary

Albany Family Medicine is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team. The hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, or 8:30am-5:00pm.

This position is eligible for up to a $1,000.00 recruitment and retention bonus!! Responsibilities include documenting conversations into patient records, maintaining patient flow, preparing patients for visits, obtaining specimens, accurate order entry into the lab system, and performing clinic procedures (EKG, PFT) as directed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous medical/clinical experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Ability to use interpersonal skills to establish/maintain cooperative relationships with patients, families, physicians/providers, managers, co-workers, and external customers.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• Experience with Allscripts is a plus!

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
