Job summary

Actalent is seeking Medical Assistants to support patients on Long Island. Locations include Amityville, Coram, Shirley and Riverhead; upstate locations are available. Open to entry level candidates.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, taking medical history, recording current symptoms in the EMR, measuring vital signs, preparing exam rooms, stocking supplies, and sterilizing instruments to maintain a clean, efficient clinical environment.

• Clean, maintain, and prepare medical instruments, including proper use of autoclave equipment for sterilization.

Pay Rate

Medical Assistant Diploma: $20.50-$23.50 an hour (Dependent on experience) Medical Assistant Diploma WITH NHA: $22-$25.50 an hour (Dependent on experience)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Amityville, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
