Actalent is hiring Medical Assistants for Long Island locations, including Coram, NY. Open to entry-level candidates with Medical Assistant Diploma. This is a contract, fully onsite role with responsibilities from greeting patients to preparing exam rooms and sterilization.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure and document vital signs and clinical measurements.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are ready and organized.
• Stock and restock exam rooms and maintain inventory and cleanliness.
• Sterilize instruments using autoclave or approved methods.

Actalent is hiring Medical Assistants throughout Long Island!!!

Locations Available: Amityville, Coram, Shirley, Riverhead

Upstate Locations available as well

**MEDICAL ASSITANT DIPLOMA REQUIRED**

Open to entry level candidates

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, escort them to exam rooms, and ensure they feel welcomed and respected throughout their visit.
• Perform patient intake, including collecting medical history, recording current symptoms, and updating information in the electronic medical record.
• Accurately obtain and document vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and other clinical measurements.
• Prepare exam rooms for patient visits and procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and organized.
• Stock and restock exam rooms with medical supplies, maintaining appropriate inventory levels and cleanliness.
• Clean, maintain, and prepare medical instruments, including proper use of autoclave equipment for sterilization.

Pay Rate:

Medical Assistant Diploma: $20.50-$23.50 an hour (Dependent on experience)

Medical Assistant Diploma WITH NHA: $22-$25.50 an hour (Dependent on experience)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $25.00/hr.
