Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care across its growing network. You will welcome patients, help them prepare for visits and assist providers with histories, vitals, injections, and dressing changes.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and formal medical assisting training or certification, with experience in Electronic Medical Records. We offer growth opportunities, a dynamic environment, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent; formal medical assistant training or certification preferred.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
  • Ability to comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Assists providers in patient care: taking histories and vitals, preparing injections, setting up sterile fields, dressing changes.
  • Cast applications and DMEs as needed.
  • Verify patient medical records for coding accuracy.
  • Triage patient calls and physician messages; manage exam rooms and supplies.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments, initial therapy visits, and MRI appointments.
