Job summary

Family Practice Center in East York, PA is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our physician-owned practice. You will room patients, assist providers, document records, and perform triage, phlebotomy, and routine tests to support high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates have strong organizational and communication skills, a compassionate, patient-centered approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting within a large multi-location practice.

Qualifications

• Previous Medical Assistant experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is important.
• Compassionate, patient-focused attitude and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare examination areas.
• Assist providers with various tasks during patient visits.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records.
• Perform triage, phlebotomy, and collect specimens as needed.
• Administer immunizations and injections.
• Conduct EKGs and other basic tests.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.

We are currently seeing a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at our East York office. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Rooming Patients
• Assisting providers with various tasks
• Documentation and record-keeping

• Phlebotomy
• Administering immunization and injections
• Conducting EKGs and other testing
• Other duties as assigned
