Job summary

Allergy and Asthma Clinic of Maryland is seeking an experienced medical assistant to join our specialty practice on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, punctual, with excellent communication and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Rooming patients, taking vital signs, interviewing, injections, and testing are core duties. Experience with EMRs and typing skills is required; 1 year in a medical office or as a medical assistant is preferred.

Details of what you will do:

Rooming patients, taking vital signs, interviewing patients to obtain medical information, giving injections, and performing testing. Hired individuals will be trained to perform office‑specific duties.

Requirements:

• Work days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and must be available on these days.
• Experience with electronic medical records with typing skills.
• Medical assistant, 1 year (Preferred).
• Medical office, 1 year (Preferred).
