Job summary

Frontier Dermatology in Seattle is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to support providers in procedures, room patients, educate patients, and perform daily tasks in a fast-paced dermatology practice.

The role offers Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm with a wage range of $22.00–$31.00 per hour, dependent on experience and market factors, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, 401k, life insurance, holidays and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be Certified or Registered as a Medical Assistant through the WA State Dept of Health.
• HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent.
• Our medical assistants must be comfortable in a fast paced environment; some duties include rooming patients, assisting providers in procedures, patient education, and daily patient tasks.
• Our medical assistants must have exceptional customer service skills, be highly organized, and very detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare examination rooms.
• Assist providers in dermatology procedures.
• Provide patient education and instructions for follow-up care.
• Handle daily patient tasks and communicate with the care team.

Position Details

• Job Title: Medical Assistant
• Location: Seattle Northgate
• Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• Wage Range MA: $22.00 – $31.00 hourly (Pay is dependent upon a combination of multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, transferable skills, business needs, and geographic market availability)

Washington Pay Range

$22—$31 USD
