Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in examinations and treatments, performing routine clinical tasks and patient intake in travel assignments across Oregon.

Candidates should have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program, strong medical terminology knowledge, and good communication skills. CPR/Health certificates may be required; travel opportunities across multiple locations are available.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients and staff.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is required.
• Clerical tasks and health documentation knowledge are needed.
• CPR certification if applicable; health certificates as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties under physician supervision to assist in examinations and treatments.
• Support clinical and clerical tasks to ensure smooth patient flow and documentation.

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist inthe examination and treatment of patients.

• High School diploma or its equivalent
• Good telephone communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of medical procedures
• Knowledge of clerical functions
• Current CPR card (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
• Relevant certification/ license if applicable.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
