Position Summary OrthoVirginia is seeking a compassionate, organized, and patient-focused Medical Assistant (Clinical Team Member) to join our orthopedic care team. In this role, you will support physicians and clinical staff by providing exceptional patient care, coordinating clinic activities, and ensuring efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong customer service skills, and is committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with orthopedic providers while assisting patients throughout their treatment journey, including office visits, diagnostic testing, surgery coordination, and post-operative care.
Excellent customer service skills with a strong commitment to patient-centered care. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy clinical environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and standard office technology. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Range for this position: $17.98 - $26.97 Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
