Allied Physicians Group in Oceanside, NY is seeking a Medical Assistant to bring compassion, organization, and energy to our pediatric practice. You will greet and prepare pediatric patients, document vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and assist providers with examinations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of Medical Assistant experience in a pediatric setting.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Background with electronic medical records (AthenaOne and Phreesia preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort pediatric patients for examinations and treatments.
• Obtain and document vital signs accurately.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Conduct point-of-care tests (rapid strep, influenza, COVID-19).
• Assist providers with examinations and patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate referrals and follow-up.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with HIPAA.
