Job summary

Medi-Weightloss of Cary is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the welcoming face of our clinic, supporting administrative and clinical operations and delivering exceptional patient experiences.

You will participate in comprehensive training in injection administration, EKG, phlebotomy, and more, while contributing to a warm, supportive environment with a collaborative team. Full-time role with flexible scheduling options and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience (preferred, but not required).
• Experience in a medical setting (preferred, but we’ll train the right candidate!).
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred, but not required).
• Eagerness to learn and develop new medical skills with comprehensive training provided.
• Team-oriented with collaborative mindset and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and maintain a warm, professional clinic environment.
• Answer inquiries about the Medi-Weightloss program with clear responses.
• Manage phone, text, and fax communications promptly and professionally.
• Scan and upload patient documents to keep records organized.
• Keep the clinic clean and compliant with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
• Collaborate with team and participate in training for new roles.

About The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Create a Warm Environment: Greet every patient with a smile, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere while upholding outstanding customer service standards.
• Program Expertise: Answer inquiries about the Medi-Weightloss program, providing clear and knowledgeable responses to patients and prospective clients.
• Administrative Excellence: Handle phone, text, and fax communications, routing messages promptly and professionally.
• Document Management: Perform daily scanning and uploading of patient documents to maintain organized, accurate records.
• Clinic Upkeep: Ensure the clinic remains clean, welcoming, and compliant with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
• Team Collaboration: Embrace opportunities to learn and train in new roles, contributing to the clinic’s success.
