Medi-Weightloss is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our private-practice team in Chapel Hill and Cary, NC. You will work with a clinic physician to deliver preventive care, manage medications, and follow Medi-Weightloss protocols.

This role emphasizes nutrition counseling, frequent patient follow-up, and collaboration across three clinics. Relocation to Chapel Hill/Cary/Raleigh is required before starting, with a weekday schedule and predictable hours.

Qualificações

• 1+ years in nutrition or related field preferred.
• APRN or DEA Certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver comprehensive patient care: exams, histories, orders (EKGs, labs, metabolic tests).
• Prescribe FDA-approved appetite suppressants in compliance with laws.
• Provide weekly nutrition, exercise and lifestyle counseling to support weight-loss goals.
• Track progress in EMR with follow-up and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, train staff, and coordinate with referral physicians.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team full-time. You'll work side by side with our clinic physician, delivering exceptional patient care while following established Medi-Weightloss protocols. What You'll Do

• Deliver excellent patient care: Conduct comprehensive physical exams, review medical and psychosocial histories, and order diagnostic tests (EKGs, phlebotomy, metabolic breathing analysis).

• Manage medications: Prescribe and dispense FDA-approved appetite suppressants in full compliance with state and federal guidelines.

• Provide holistic support: Deliver weekly counseling on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes to help patients achieve and maintain their weight-loss goals.

• Monitor progress: Track and document patient progress in our EMR system with personalized follow-up.

• Collaborate with the team: Train clinical and non-clinical staff, conduct patient consultations, and work with referral physicians to support clinic success.

• Stay engaged: Make follow-up calls to provide ongoing support and address patient concerns.

Additional Responsibilities

• Provide coverage at our three nearby clinics as needed.

• Perform other clinical duties that support the clinic's mission and operations.

Work Schedule

• Tuesday: 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM

• Wednesday: 6:30 AM to 1:00 PM

• Thursday: 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM

• Friday: 6:30 AM to 1:00 PM

• Saturday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM

• Sunday & Monday: Closed

Work Setting

In-person at our private-practice clinic in Chapel Hill & Cary, NC, with a welcoming med-spa atmosphere. Occasional shifts as needed in our Raleigh clinic.
