Job summary

The Treatment Skin Boutique in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support daily clinical operations and deliver a professional, client-centered experience. This hourly position may include weekend scheduling, with training provided in line with company protocols and state regulations.

You will assist providers with procedures, prepare rooms, document in HIPAA-compliant systems, and help manage patient flow and safety.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for appointments and treatments in a professional and efficient manner.
• Communicate patient needs, concerns, and updates to medical provider.
• Assist providers with approved medical and aesthetic procedures per protocols and state regulations.
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies to support readiness and patient safety.
• Ensure exam and treatment rooms remain clean and compliant throughout the day.
• Provide patients with post-procedure instructions and educational materials.
• Document patient information in HIPAA-compliant systems and maintain records.
• Capture before-and-after photos per consent and company standards.
• Ensure all consent forms and documentation are completed prior to procedures.
• Maintain familiarity with skincare products, procedures, and offerings.
• Support inventory organization and supply restocking as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication with patients and staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

This role assists providers with patient flow, procedural support, documentation, and operational readiness while helping maintain a safe, organized, and efficient treatment environment.

The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting high standards of patient care and client experience within a fast-paced medical aesthetics environment. This is an hourly position that may include weekend scheduling based on business needs. Training is provided in alignment with company protocols and applicable state regulations.

Location: Newport Beach, CA

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments and treatments in a professional and efficient manner.
• Communicate patient needs, concerns, and relevant updates to medical provider
• Assist providers with approved medical and aesthetic procedures in accordance with company protocols, provider delegation, licensure requirements, and applicable state regulations.
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies to support operational readiness and patient safety.
• Ensure exam and treatment rooms maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and operational standards throughout the day.
• Provide patients with approved post-procedure instructions, educational materials, and general treatment guidance as directed by providers.
• Utilize company systems and HIPAA-compliant platforms to document patient information, upload photos, maintain records, and support clinical workflows.
• Capture before-and-after treatment photos in accordance with company standards and consent protocols.
• Ensure all required patient consent forms and documentation are completed prior to procedures.
• Maintain familiarity with skincare products, aesthetic procedures, treatment offerings, and operational standards.
• Support inventory organization, supply restocking, and additional operational needs as assigned.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and effective communication in all patient and team interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
