Medical Offices of Manhattan - Upper East Side is seeking a Medical Assistant for an OB/GYN office. Responsibilities include recording patient history, measuring vitals, assisting physicians during exams, collecting specimens, and performing phlebotomy and injections.

Full-time position with immediate start. Experience required in a busy OB/GYN setting; location is in New York, NY.

Qualifications

• Previous medical assistant experience required.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and administer injections as directed.
• Willingness to start immediately and work full time.

Responsabilités

• Record patient medical history and visit reasons.
• Measure vital signs including BP, temp, weight, and pulse.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians.
• Collect laboratory specimens and perform phlebotomy.
• Administer medications or immunizations as directed.
• Change wound dressings, remove sutures, and prep exam rooms.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment.

Looking for Medical Assistant for OB/GYN office to do the following: . .

• Record patient medical history, personal information, and reasons for the visit.. .
• Measure vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, weight, and pulse.. .
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during exams or minor procedures.. .
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, and perform phlebotomy (drawing blood).. .
• Administer medications, injections, or immunizations as directed by a physician.. .
• Change wound dressings, care for injuries, and remove sutures.Sterilize medical instruments and prep exam rooms.
