Job summary

Southern California Spine and Joint Institute is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join our growing pain management office in Murrieta, CA. The role requires a self-motivated, reliable, and caring individual to support physicians during procedures and front desk duties as needed.

Responsibilities include taking medical histories and vital signs, educating patients on treatments, creating radiology orders, and obtaining radiology reports.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant credential required.
• Pain management experience preferred; fluoroscopy experience desired.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients.

• Obtain radiology reports from online portals
• You may also be expected to perform front desk responsibilities including but not limited to:
• answering phones
• scheduling patients
• checking patients in and out
• collecting co-pays/deductibles
