You will room patients, collect histories, perform venipuncture, triage calls, and handle scheduling, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate records. The ideal candidate holds CMA and BLS, has 2+ years MA experience in outpatient settings, and is detail-oriented with a commitment to quality

Formación

• Current CMA Certification is required.
• Current BLS Certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Experience in adult outpatient clinics is required.
• Venipuncture experience is required.
• Telephone triage experience is required.
• Appointment scheduling experience is required.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients and prepare them for orthopedic clinic visits.
• Obtain and document patient histories, medications, allergies, and chief complaints.
• Assist the Orthopedic Surgeon during examinations and treatments.
• Perform telephone triage and respond to patient messages.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up visits.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection procedures.
• Apply and assist with casts, braces, and splints.
• Perform dressing changes and wound care as directed.
• Process clinical orders and patient care documentation.
• Assist with insurance verification and authorization requests.
• Handle pharmacy refill requests and provider communications.
• Prepare charts and maintain accurate medical records.
• Stock and organize clinical supplies and exam rooms.
• Promote efficient patient flow and excellent patient experience.

• Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
