National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Mobile office. Hours are 7:30am-4:30pm, with front and back office responsibilities and patient flow coordination.

Responsibilities include vitals, documentation, and patient education. The organization emphasizes a large network of clinics and a commitment to high-quality pain relief care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred OR two years of clinical MA experience.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily patient flow and act as liaison between providers and patients.
• Monitor clinical messages and relay information to providers and patients.
• Prepare and maintain exam, procedure, and recovery rooms.
• Take and record patients' vitals and note changes.
• Document patient charts with labs, imaging, meds, allergies and orders.
• Provide discharge instructions and educational materials to patients.

National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking aFull-Time Medical Assistant to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our office in Mobile.

• Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm
• Responsibilities: front and back office

Job Responsibilities

• Anticipate and support the needs and preferences of the Provider(s) and patients by managing daily patient flow and acting as a constant liaison between the Provider(s) and patients.
• Monitor clinical messages by effectively communicating information to the Provider(s) and relaying associated responses back to patients.
• Organize, clean, and prepare exam, procedure, and recovery rooms before and after each patient.
• Take and record patients’ vitals, noting any changes or areas of concern.
• Complete documentation for patient charts by obtaining diagnostic studies (e.g., labs, X-rays, path reports, etc.); reviewing current medications, dosage, and dosage schedule; noting any allergies; and recording Provider(s’) orders and prescriptions.
• Provide patients with any needed discharge/follow-up instructions, educational brochures, and dietary requirements

Job Requirements

• A high school degree or equivalent education and training
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferredORa minimum of two (2) years of clinical Medical Assisting experience
• CMA/RMA certification preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity
