Job summary

Connecticut GI (CTGI), a division of GI Alliance, seeks a full-time Medical Assistant for our Meriden Care Center. You will room patients, measure vital signs, and document in Epic EMR, supporting physicians and staff in delivering compassionate care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited MA program and at least one year of MA experience. EMR experience preferred; Epic experience a plus. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an Accredited MA Program (preferred).
• At least one full year of Medical Assistant experience.
• EMR experience is ideal; Epic experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of health care field and EMR systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs (BP, height, weight) and document in Epic EMR.
• Update patient medical history and medication lists.
• Document patient phone calls and communicate test results under provider guidance.
• Familiar with prior authorization processes.
• Ask triage questions and record accurately in Epic.
