Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Surgical Associates across multiple locations. You will assist physicians with routine procedures, take vital signs, draw blood, administer immunizations, and perform EKGs to help maintain efficient patient flow.

The role emphasizes hands-on clinical training, HS diploma/MA program completion, and BLS within 30 days of start. Day shift, full-time opportunities with tuition reimbursement and PTO.

Qualifications

• Completion of supervised hands-on clinical training through a practicum, externship, apprenticeship, or similar patient care experience.
• At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and practitioners with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, EKGs, and other patient care activities.
• Maintain smooth patient flow and anticipate patient needs.

Education

• At least one (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant strongly preferred.

Licensures/Certifications

Medical Assistant Certification Preferred

All Main Line Health Care Medical Assistants are required to have their BLS for Healthcare Providers at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.
