Job summary

Premise Health in Lebanon, OR seeks a Full Time Medical Assistant to provide care to client employees at our Health Center in Lebanon. This role emphasizes a stable schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call requirements, and offers 10 paid holidays and strong work-life balance.

You will interview patients, measure vital signs, maintain health records, prepare treatment rooms, administer medications, perform labs and EKGs, and support front desk operations and inventory management.

Qualifications

• National certification in Medical Assisting or an approved MA program with hands-on externship (online courses not accepted).
• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA/ARC) for healthcare providers is required.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse, temperature, BP, weight, height).
• Maintains patient health records with up-to-date information.
• Prepares treatment rooms and sterilizes instruments.
• Performs medication administration and labs, and operates EKGs as permitted by state regulations.
• Assists at front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders supplies.

What You’ll Do

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Medication administration including injections, performs laboratory tests, operates EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not accepted
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
