Job summary

Integrated Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology workflow, including escorting patients, assisting physicians with exams, and managing clinical tasks. The role requires 1+ year of MA experience, familiarity with HIPAA/OSHA, and EMR proficiency, with dermatology experience preferred.

The position is full-time, typically Monday–Friday, with pay starting at $20/hr. A high school diploma is required, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations is required.
• EMR experience is required.
• Dermatology experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist physicians with exams and procedures.
• Administer medications and perform tests as directed.
• Assist patients with questions about medications and wound care.
• File charts and ensure all related reports, labs, and information are available in patients' medical records before appointment.
• Take telephone messages, provide feedback, and answer patient/physician/pharmacy calls.
• Process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians.
• Clean and restock examination rooms.
