Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patient care. Onsite at our Jacksonville, FL location, you will handle both administrative and clinical tasks, report to Center Administrator, and support a team-focused primary care environment.

Responsibilities include documenting symptoms in EMR, taking vital signs, administering injections, collecting specimens, and maintaining exam rooms.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider.
• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• CPR Certified
• This role is part of the TB screening program and will require TB screening.

The Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative tasks in addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. You will perform computations, and other tasks, and report to the Center Administrator.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Medical Assistant performs clinical tasks such as:

• Take and record vital signs
• Administer injections
• Perform diagnostic tests
• Collect specimens and draw blood
• Sterilize equipment
• Maintain examination rooms

Required:

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• CPR Certified
• This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB

Preferred:

• Certified or Registered – (Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina candidates require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration)
• Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.

WorkHours: Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$43,000 - $56,200 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
