Job summary

Siouxland Community Health seeks a Medical Assistant (MA) to support a busy multi-physician family practice. Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and all necessary instruments, equipment and paperwork for clinical visits.
• Assist with phlebotomy and administer immunizations.
• Perform vision and hearing exams.
• Schedule appointments.
• Document in electronic medical records and practice management system.

1 — Full-time (approximately 40 hours per week)

Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:

• High School diploma or GED, certification preferred for MA.
• Medication Aide Certificate
• Multi-Physician Family Practice experience preferred.
• Electronic Medical / Health Records (EMR) experience a definite plus.
• Current BCLS and Mandatory Reporter certification.
• Solid computer skills.
