Mercyhealth is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support across ambulatory settings. You will prepare patients for visits, handle intake data, assist with examinations and procedures, and coordinate referrals and scheduling.
Responsibilities include charting, patient greeting, handling payments, and maintaining supplies. A post-secondary MA program and CPR/BLS certification within 90 days are required or preferred, with paid time off and benefits on
Provides clinical and administrative support by preparing patients for visits, collecting assessment information, and assisting with examinations, treatments, laboratory procedures, and screenings. Coordinates appointments and referrals, maintains accurate patient records, responds to calls and inquiries, and helps ensure a welcoming and efficient clinic experience.

Graduate of a medical assistant program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), or graduate of a medical assistant program in a post secondary school or college that has institutional accreditation by a regional accrediting commission or by a national accrediting organization approved by the U.S. Department of Education, or a graduate of an educational program accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), such as the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Experience in a program with a clinical rotation preferred.
