Job summary

ExperCARE in Huntsville, AL is seeking experienced Medical Assistants who are passionate about compassionate care and helping our community. You will perform triage, take vital signs, document patient histories, conduct EKGs and rapid tests, and assist providers with procedures in a fast-paced clinic.

This role requires strong communication, flexible availability including evenings and weekends, and a professional license or certification.

Qualifications

• Excellent patient service and communication skills.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Certified or licensed (or eligible for certification/licensure).
• Ability to pass a background check at time of hire.
• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, vital signs, and patient history.
• Conduct EKGs and rapid lab testing.
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections.
• Assist providers with procedures and patient care.
• Manage patient call-backs and provide education.
• Set up and assist with sterile procedures.
• Maintain and stock exam rooms and supplies.
• Support occupational medicine services (drug screens, breath alcohol testing, etc.).
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered clinic environment.
